Star India batter KL Rahul is one of the most talented cricketers of recent times. He oozes class and temperament and has helped his team to shine in tough situations time and again. Since his debut for India in 2014 Rahul has been an integral part of the Indian setup. He has played some beautiful innings and helped India come on top. Meanwhile, his friendship with star India all-rounder Hardik Pandya is just like Jay-Veeru of the Indian Cricket Team.

Meanwhile, ahead of their game against each other in the Indian Premier League 2023, LSG skipper KL Rahul spoke about his bonding with GT skipper Hardik Pandya. While speaking with Star Sports Rahul was asked to name his bromance with Hardik Pandya with a nickname. Rahul named their bromance ‘Hardul’. He also spoke about their bond and how they deal with tough situations.

Notably, KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants will take on defending champions Gujarat Titans at the iconic Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Saturday. In the day game, both of the teams will be looking to continue their dominance to make a way to the playoffs.

A few years ago, KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya were in trouble after participating in Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan show. While the cricketing duo drew widespread criticism for their controversial remarks, KL Rahul’s father-in-law and veteran actor Suniel Shetty has now gone to their defence.

In an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, the veteran actor slyly criticised Karan Johar while defending the two players. Suniel said, “Hardik probably got carried away. But when you have an anchor shoving it down your throat what do you do? So it is the show’s format, you get kids excited and they say stuff and then Bollywood is being banned.”

“I think we all, you as an anchor, me as a guest, we all need to be responsible because you ask me a question that I feel I can’t answer doesn’t mean that I am inferior to anybody, when that happens, that’s when things go wrong and it should never go wrong. You should have the guts to say things as they are and as they should be”, he further added.
