RCB vs KKR: Vyshak Vijay Kumar sends dangerous Jason Roy back back to pavilions with splendid delivery – Watch
Royal Challengers Bangalore pacer Vyshak Vijay Kumar bowled a splendid yorker to send the Kolkata Knight Riders batter Jason Roy back to the pavilion in the ongoing match number 36 of IPL 2023 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. He bowled Roy in the 10th over to give RCB a second breakthrough and ended up taking 2 wickets in a single over.
Roy, who was looking in good touch after scoring 56 runs off 28 balls hitting three fours and five sixes, walked around the stumps to flick the balls away in the last ball of the 10th over of the KKR innings. However, He Vijat Kumar beats the batter as the ball ended up clearing the stumps to give RCB a second breakthrough.

Talking about the match, RCB stand-in skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected the field first against KKR. Batting first, KKR had a great start as Roy and Narayan Jagadeesan put up a partnership of 83 runs for the first wicket in 9.2 overs. Jagadeesan got out after scoring 27 off 29 hitting four boundaries. A couple of deliveries later, Roy also lost his wicket as the score was reduced to 88 for 2 after 10 overs.
After that. Skipper Nitish Rana and Venkatesh Iyer took the innings further by adding 80 runs for the third wicket. Iyer got out after scoring 31 runs off 26 balls hitting three boundaries. While Rana smashed 48 runs off just 21 balls with three fours and four sixes before getting out in the second balls of the 18th over of the innings. Andre Russell couldn’t go big as he was bowled by Mohammed Siraj after scoring just 1 run.
After that, Rinku Singh (18 off 10) and David Weise (12 off 3) added the finishing touches to the innings as KKR posted a total of 200 runs for the loss 5 wickets. For RCB, Wanindu Hasaranga and Vijay Kumar took 2-2 wickets each. While, Mohammed Siraj put 1 in his bag.
