‘Bechara kaha phas gya’ – Fans react as Naveen-ul-Haq gets teased by Lucknow crowd with ‘Kohli, Kohli’ chants

In the 63rd match of the Indian Premier League 2023, Lucknow Super Giants beat Mumbai Indians by 5 runs at Ekana Stadium on Tuesday. With this victory, LSG moved ahead in the race of playoffs with 15 points in 13 matches. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians failed to book their spot in the playoffs and would now need to win their last game against SRH.

Meanwhile, Star Afghanistan pacer Naveen-Ul-Haq was teased by fans during the game. Naveen, who made his comeback against MI, fought with Virat Kohli during LSG vs RCB game. However, fans teased him with Kohli-Kohli chants during LSG’s clash against MI. However, the pacer didn’t get irritated and hilariously asked fans to be louder.

Naveen had a verbal spat with Virat Kohli earlier this month during the LSG-RCB match. The same debate carried over into the post-match handshakes, resulting in a furious exchange between Kohli and LSG coach Gautam Gambhir. Notably, despite LSG’s victory, Naveen had a forgettable day, conceding 37 runs in four overs without taking a wicket, including a dismal 19th over in which he gave 19 runs.

Moshin Khan helped LSG to beat MI

In the game, MI needed 11 runs off the last over when Tim David and Camron Green were batting in the middle. Young pacer Mohsin Khan successfully defended 11 runs and helped LSG to move ahead in the race playoffs. However, after this defeat, Mumbai Indians now need to win their remaining game against Sunrisers Hyderabad to make it to the playoffs.

Meanwhile, after this defeat, MI skipper Rohit Sharma posted an image of his team and captioned it with ‘Believe’. Notably, Rohit and Ishan Kishan gave a flying start to MI during the run chase against LSG. Both added 90 runs for the first wicket as Rohit scored 37 runs off 25 balls with the help of a boundary and three sixes.
