‘Abhi maza aayega na final ka’ – Fans react as the commentary panel announced for WTC FInal between India and Australia

The commentary panel has been announced for the upcoming World Test Championship Final between India and Australia. The final encounter for the Test Mace of the WTC cycle 2021-23 is scheduled to be played at the Oval, England from June 7 to June 11. The runners-up of the previous edition (2019-21), India are all set take on Australia in their second consecutive final.

After a disappointing season in IPL 2023 for Royal Challengers Bangalore, the veteran Indian wicketkeeper batter Dinesh Karthik will be returning for another English commentary stint for the WTC final. The 36-year-old has done commentary in the past and got lots of appreciation for it. He is known for attracting viewers with his witty, catchy, and brilliant one-liners during the commentary.

Apart from Karthik, some other former cricketers are also looking up to entertain the fnas with theri commentary in India – Australia clash. The other English commentators are Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar, Kumar Sangakkara, Nasser Hussain, Matthew Hayden, Ricky Ponting, and Justin Langer.

Meanwhile, in the Hindi panel, some famous names will be coming back to provide their outputs in the WTC final starting next week. The Hindi commentators are Sourav Ganguly, Harbhajan Singh S Sreesanth, Jatin Sapru, and Deep Dasgupta.

India – Australia gearing up for WTC final

Both India and Australia have already kickstarted their preparations ahead of the final encounter to clinch the Test mace. India will be looking to win the title in their second attempt and continue their dominance over the Aussies in the longest format. Meanwhile, Australia will be focusing on both WTC final and the Ashes series in their red-ball season. After the completion of the WTC final. Australia will lock horns with the arch-rivals England to retain the Ashes urn in a five-match series starting ojn June 16.
