‘Agal bagal dekho Urvashi bhi hogi’ – Fans react as Rishabh Pant reaches Bengaluru to support DC against RCB

Delhi Capitals regular skipper and wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant is now slowly appearing in public places after the car accident. He was seen at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi during Delhi Capitals’ match against Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023. And now Pant has reached Bangalore for Delhi Capitals’ next game. He made his presence felt by encouraging his teammates during the training session of his team.

The Delhi Capitals team has lost four consecutive matches in the current season. They are hoping to get their first win of the season. DC are at the bottom of the table and their next match is against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Saturday (April 15). Both teams will be facing each other at RCB’s home ground -M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Delhi Capitals have faced defeat against Lucknow Super Giants in the first match, Gujarat Titans in the second match, Rajasthan Royals in the third match and Mumbai Indians in the fourth match. Pant is not playing this season due to injury and in his absence, David Warner is leading the team. 

Rishabh Pant is slowly recovering

Earlier, Rishabh Pant was seen at Delhi’s home ground i.e., Arun Jaitley Stadium to watch the match against Gujarat on April 4. Pant was brought to the stadium in a car. He was pulled out of the car by two-three people with support. Pant then moved ahead with the help of a walking stick.

He was seen sitting in the stands watching the match. During the match, the smile on his face won the hearts of the fans. He was supported by Delhi Capitals owner Parth Jindal. Apart from this, the Indian Cricket Board vice president Rajeev Shukla had also reached out to meet Pant.

At the end of December last year, his car collided with a divider. After this, his car caught fire. However, Pant was able to get out of it. After the accident, he had to undergo several surgeries. He had a fracture in his leg. It will take time to recover. Pant is still able to walk with the help of some support.
