Australian star allrounder to be available for Indian T20 League 2023 auction

The allrounder from Australia, Cameroon Green has made his availability for the 2023 edition of Indian T20 League auctions which is set to take place in Kochi on December 23. Many fans think that most of the teams would go after this star player in the auctions because of his all-round abilities.

The young Australian cricketer has played eight games so far in his T20I career and has scored 139 runs at a strike rate of over 173. He scored his highest score of 61 against India in Mohali at a stunning strike rate of 203.33 last month.

“I have registered for it. It will be an exciting opportunity,” said Green on the ‘Unplayable’ podcast as quoted by cricket.com.au. “Speaking to a lot of guys, especially in the WA (Western Australia) set up about their experience in the Indian T20 League, they speak so highly of it. They speak about the quality coaches that you are around, the quality players that you are around. They are all the best in the world at their craft.”

He would normally never use the bowling machine: Green

“It is a craft that I have not been exposed to too much. I am so open to wanting to learn as much as I can and that is probably one of the best environments to learn in,” Green said.  He also has an ambition and hunger to play Test cricket as his father Gary has been helping him in practice through bowling machines ahead of the first test against West Indies, starting from November 30.

“I had a few sessions on the bowling machine basically trying to change my contact point,” Green asserted. “In T20 cricket, you are meeting the ball so far in front of you, so you get that full swing.”

“He would normally never use the bowling machine,” Green said about his father, who helped him in practice via throwdowns. “I just thought it was going to be a long session… I just wanted something consistent and (to) look after dad’s shoulder.”
