‘Bhai isse iska phone lo koi’ – Fans react after Virat Kohli posts another cryptic story on Social media
Indian batter Virat Kohli has once again made headlines after he posted another story on his Instagram about ‘change.’ Kohli has been in the headlines for the past few days as he shared a couple of stories on his social media. Fans are also reacting differently to his story and are making different assumptions about it.
Notably, Kohli was part of the Indian team that recently lost the World Test Championship final against Australia on Sunday. Kohli couldn’t score big in the first innings as he got out after scoring 14 runs but was the top scorer for India in the second innings as he scored 49 runs. However, India ended up losing the match by 209 runs and lost the chance to clinch the Test mace in their second attempt.
“The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance,” the text, read quoting Alan Watts. Kohli shared the picture with the same quote on his Insta story.
‘Kohli was a very good captain’ – Sourav Ganguly
It is noted that Kohli decided to quit Test Captaincy in January 2022. Now, this topic has again come into the limelight after India lost the WTC final under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. However, the former President of the Indian Cricket Board, Sourav Ganguly, hailed Kohli’s captaincy in the longest format and also said that he didn’t know why the batter decided to step down from the role.
“No (on the board’s preparedness on Kohli giving up Test captaincy). Not after the South Africa series. I don’t know (why he did so), only he can tell. After Virat left, Rohit Sharma was the best option available at that time,” Ganguly had said on Aaj Tak.
“Kohli was a very good captain, India did really well under Kohli & Shastri, India played with a fearless attitude and showed guts in England & Australia. If they had played the Manchester Test at that time, they would’ve won the series in England as well,” he further added.
Many legends have been criticised, went through tough times but they didn’t seek as much as attention & validation Kohli does.
He is passing a message through these cryptic posts like I am a very learnt/confident human & passionate cricketer.
