Meanwhile, during his recent interview, the 37-year-old cricketer opened up about his snub from the Asian Games. In addition, the great India opener felt blessed to have had an amazing career, which made him contribute to Indian cricket. Moreover, the Punjab Kings batter’s next target is to win the next IPL.

“I am in a very happy state of mind. When you play the World Cup it is a great feeling. I am very blessed to have such an amazing career and contribute to the Indian team. At this stage, you go year by year. Physically I am very fit and I have an IPL to win for Punjab Kings. Hopefully, we can do that next year,” Shikhar Dhawan said.

In addition, the Delhi-born cricketer further says that, despite not being involved in any games, it is important to be productive. Moreover, the dashing batter also affirms that he has been keeping his body fit, which gives him a lot of positivity.

“It is important to be productive. We live quite a high-paced life, especially when you are playing all formats like I used to at one point. Now I have enough time, so I keep myself involved with my business interests. I train well and don’t sit at home and make sure it doesn’t get into my head. Working on my fitness and my body gives me a lot of positivity,” he added further.
