WATCH: David Warner loses Baggy Green cap ahead of Australia vs Pakistan 3rd Test, makes emotional public plea

Australia’s star cricketer David Warner has urged social media to return his baggy green cap, which has gone missing from Melbourne. Notably, Pat Cummins and Co. will be facing the Pakistan team for the third and final Test game slated to take place on January 3 at the Sydney Cricket Ground. However, the left-handed batter is set to play his farewell test against Pakistan.

David Warner revealed that his green bag had been stolen, and he didn’t get it when he reached Sydney from Melbourne for the final Test game against the Men in Green. However, following the same incident, the opening batter requested through his social media that people should return it to Cricket Australia, and he won’t be taking further action if he gets his bag as soon as possible. Notably, the Instagram post has been widely shared on social media, and the fans are extremely upset about his conduct.

“This is my last resort, but my backpack, which contained my Baggy Green, has been taken from my luggage, which was transported to Melbourne airport and flown… to Sydney a few days ago,” David Warner revealed in his Instagram post.

“It’s something that I would love to have back, in my hands, walking out there come this week. If it’s the backpack that you wanted, I have a spare one here. You won’t get into trouble, just get in touch with Cricket Australia or me. I’m happy to give this to you if you return my Baggy Green,” he added further.

Meanwhile, David Warner will be looking to end his Test career on a high note when he will be facing the Pakistan team in the last and final Test game on his home soil. In addition, the 37-year-old cricketer smashed a wonderful knock in the first Test and played a crucial role in the second Test, helping Australia win the Test series.
