Australia star cricketer David Warner has shared his insights on India’s star cricketer Virat Kohli’s future in the ODI World Cup tournament. Notably, both cricketers were last seen in action during the ODI World Cup 2023 final game on November 19 at the iconic Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. However, Virat Kohli was rested for the bilateral series of India vs. Australia. On the other hand, David Warner also opted to take a break and go back to his country after spending over two months in India.

Notably, India’s batting stalwart, Virat Kohli, has been known as the fittest person in cricket history, was the leading run scorer in the tournament, with over 700 runs and three centuries to his name in the edition. Notably, his statement prompted a fan to express hope for both Warner and Virat Kohli’s presence in the 2027 ODI World Cup which will take place in South Africa. In a surprising twist, Warner backed the 35-year-old’s potential participation in the 2031 edition, citing the former Indian skipper’s exceptional fitness and deep love for the game.

In a tweet, David Warner stated, “No reason why he can’t, he is very fit and loves the game so much,” expressing confidence in Virat Kohli’s ability to continue representing India in World Cup tournaments beyond 2027 as well.
