Notably, the sides reached the finals of the 2015 and 2019 ODI World Cup but suffered defeats against Australia and England, respectively. Meanwhile, Team India defeated them in the semi-final of the 2023 ODI World Cup; however, they will aim to win the T20 World Cup 2024, which is set to start on June 1 in the West Indies and the USA.
