Indian wicket-keeper and batter Dhruv Jurel is the talk of the town after his recent heroics. The 22-year-old scored 90 in the first innings to help India pull closer to England’s 1st innings total. In the second innings, Jurel was unbeaten on 39 to help India win the Test by 5 wickets. With the win in Ranchi, Team India has now taken a 3-1 lead and won the series.

After his heroics, the youngster is set to reap huge rewards. Morris Garages which is a famous car company is set to give him a huge reward. According to the company, the youngster will receive an MG Hector car for his feats in Ranchi.

Many fans were left frustrated that Anand Mahindra didn’t announce a prize of his own. The leading face of Mahindra Company was trolled by the fans on social media over the failure to felicitate Dhruv Jurel.

Ben Stokes praises Dhruv Jurel after his knock in Ranchi –

England skipper Ben Stokes has paid huge compliments to India’s latest star Dhruv Jurel. The 32-year-old expressed his happiness with the way the youngster fought against the English bowlers. Joe Root could be seen congratulating the young man after his amazing knock.

Speaking at the end of the game, Ben Stokes said “Both innings he’s played very well. His keeping was something to watch — I think Ben Foakes has a little man crush on him there. This reply had the entire room laughing as the English skipper was praising Jurel in his way.

Meanwhile, the 22-year-old while speaking to the media paid huge compliments to his father. “It was for my father. He is a Kargil war veteran. Yesterday I spoke and he indirectly said, ‘Son, at least show me a salute’. That is what I have been doing all my growing up years. It was for him,”

The likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Ian Bishop, and Tom Moody paid compliments to Dhruv Jurel. Former West Indian pacer Ian Bishop wrote “Around the cricketing landscape, we are witnessing some really talented young players popping up. The future of the game is in good hands”
