Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni has been rumored to retire after the ongoing IPL 2023. As per reports surfaced ahead of the tournament, a CSK official hinted towards the same. However, he also maintained that there is no communication between Dhoni and the franchise. Meanwhile, the swing bowler of the team, Deepak Chahar denied the reports in an interview ahead of the tournament.

Recently, head coach Stephen Fleming said that there is no indication from Dhoni to retire after the tournament. Meanwhile, ahead of the ongoing game between Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings, the former India skipper was asked about retiring from the league by Danny Morrison. However, the former decided to stay mum like he has been doing since a long time.

Danny Morrison asked,” How you’re enjoying your last season?” “You’ve decided that it’s my last season, not me,” Dhoni replied with a laugh.
