The stage has been set for the crucial match between the 2023 ODI World Cup hosts India and the five-time world champion Australia, which takes place on November 19 at the prestigious Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium. Notably, Team India qualified for the finals by crushing the Kiwis by 70 runs in the semi-final. However, in their most recent match, Australia stunned a formidable South African side by three wickets.

Team India beat New Zealand by 70 runs in their semi-final clash on November 15 at the iconic Wankhede Cricket Stadium in Mumbai. Notably, the Men in Blue have posted a massive tally of 397/4 in the given 50 overs, thanks to brilliant batting performances from the top orders. However, during the chase, the Kiwis were too good at giving up a close fight to the home team, but some crucial wickets made them lose the game and knocked them out of the event.

On the other hand, Australia beat the in-form Proteas in their last clash, which helped them win the game. Notably, South Africa were only able to post 212 runs before getting all out in the game. However, Australia also faltered, but they held their nerves to chase down the total to knock the Temba Bavuma side out of the tournament and also make it into the finals.

However, ahead of the showdown, the world’s most prominent and richest boxer, Floyd Mayweather, has congratulated Team India for reaching the final clash of the ODI World Cup 2023 and backed them to win the final tournament. Moreover, the legendary boxer called Team India the best-ever cricketing team.

The owner of the Sacramento Kings, Vivek Ranadive, posted a video with Mayweather on X. Notably, the clip has been widely shared on social media and shows the craze for Indian cricket. “I want to say to the Indian Cricket Team, congratulations. You guys are the best for making it to the World Cup finals,” the former champion said in the video.
