‘Haa lekin India ready nhi h n iske roar ke liye’ – Fans react as KL Rahul reportedly set to resume his batting practice

Star India batter KL Rahul is looking to make a comeback for the Indian team in the upcoming months. He is currently rehabilitating from a thigh injury at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. However, in recent news reports, it has been suggested that Rahul will resume his batting practice later this week.

It is important to remember that Rahul wants to rejoin the squad for the Asia Cup 2023. But since he has not started batting practice in the nets, it is questionable that he will be match-fit until then. Other players such as Shreyas Iyer and Jasprit Bumrah have begun their separate preparations with the bat and the ball. They are all receiving treatment at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.

It is worth noting that Bumrah is looking fit to make a comeback during India’s Ireland tour. While Iyer will be making his comeback through the Asia Cup, he is unlikely to be fit for the Ireland tour. However, a decision over KL Rahul’s selection will be taken later this week after he resumes his batting sessions at NCA. A top team of coaches will monitor his progress, and then a decision will be made. However, the Indian Cricket Board does not want to fast-track any player’s recovery process considering the upcoming World Cup.

“You cannot be such a good boy”, Sunil Shetty warns KL Rahul

KL Rahul’s Father-in-law and Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty comes up with a special message for him. He said, “Don’t be such a beautiful human being that we seem inferior when it comes to you. You cannot be such a good boy that everybody believes that this is what goodness is about and not you; that’s the kind of child he is. I always tell Athiya that you’re blessed. I tell her she is blessed, not necessarily the other way around.”

KL Rahul has been recuperating impressively. In a recent Instagram post, he shared glimpses of his gym session. He can be seen doing heavy leg workouts during the gym session. This was also considered a message from Rahul to the selectors about his fitness. He will be keen to make a comeback as soon as possible, considering this is a World Cup year and the Asia Cup will be his final option to cement his position in the World Cup squad.

Here is how fans reacted to KL Rahul’s recovery progress:
