The Irish batters had no answers to the bowlers of New Zealand, who were completely all over Ireland. In the process, New Zealand registered a mammoth win of 290 runs, which remained the biggest win in ODIs for 15 years.

Chasing the target, Afghanistan could not recover the shock and ended up conceding the match by a huge margin of 275 runs.
