‘Legend played so well’ – Fans react as Kane Williamson guides New Zealand to beat South Africa in Test Series for first time

The New Zealand cricket team won the second Test match by seven wickets against South Africa at Seddon Park on February 16. Notably, the Black Caps have won the series by 2-0 and boosted their rankings in the World Test Championship Cycle 2023–2025. Speaking about the game here, it was South African skipper Neil Brand who had won the toss and invited the hosts to field first in the game.

Notably, after being elected to bat first, they posted 242 runs before getting all out in the game. However, during the chase, New Zealand was only able to make 211 runs before getting all out, which gives hope to South Africa to level up the series against a strong home side.

Meanwhile, South Africa managed to get 235 runs before getting all out. However, it was star batter Bedingham who hammered 110 runs from 141 balls, featuring 12 boundaries and two sixes, to help the Proteas post a decent total against New Zealand in the second innings of the second Test match taking place in Hamilton.
