The great all-rounder called this rumour false and a lie. Notably, the former Test skipper is very upset by this fake news and is seeking an apology from the sources who circulated it. Moreover, the former right-handed batter is well and alive, but he is hurt by this fake news.
“It is a total rumour and a lie. I’m alive and well. I am very upset to learn that something as big as someone apparently passing can be spread unverified, especially in our day and age of social media, I believe the source should apologize. I am hurt by the news,” Heath Streak said on Mid-Day.

In addition, the 49-year-old cricketer said one should be careful before passing such baseless news on social media. Notably, the star batter has been recovering from cancer and is in a better position now. Moreover, the legendary cricketer revealed that he suddenly got to know that people were circulating his death news on social media, and following that, journalists and representatives published this false news. Furthermore, the Bulawayo-born cricketer called all the things incorrect.
“People should be a bit more careful before spreading such rumours. I am better now and recovering from cancer. I am at home and obviously there’s still a bit of strain because of the treatment. But otherwise, I am fine. Suddenly I get to know that people have started talking about my death, as someone shared it on social media. But that was not all correct. I am recovering and feeling a lot better,” he added.
