‘Great to hear ‘Dil Dil’ Pakistan being played……’ – Michael Vaughan hits back at Pakistan Team on Day 2 of Perth Test

Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan was extremely ecstatic to hear the Dil Dil Pakistani song being played during the tea break on Day 2 of the first Test game against Australia in Perth. Notably, the star cricketer took an indirect dig at Mickey Arthur, who claimed the same statement after Pakistan’s loss to India in the ODI World Cup 2023 on October 14 at the iconic Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Speaking about first Test, it was Australian skipper Pat Cummins who won the toss and invited visitors to field first in the game. Notably, after being opted to bat first, Australia were all out for 487 runs during the first inning of the game. Star cricketer, David Warner slammed a magnificent hundred as he went on to score 164 runs from 211 balls. Following him, Mitchell Marsh also piled up 90 runs from 107 balls, which helped them reach 487 runs.

However, during the chase, the Pakistan team was 131/2 at the end of Day 2. Notably, Abdul Shafique slammed 41 runs while newly appointed skipper Shan Masood was departed for just 30 runs. Meanwhile, Imam-ul-Haq and Shehzad are at the crease with unbeaten 38 and 7 runs, respectively, and they both will be looking to continue the great momentum to chase down the total until the end of Day 3 to continue sitting at the top of the WTC Cycle 2023-2025.
