‘RCB fans ke aansu pee liya abhi bhi thirsty?’ – Fans in hilarious mood as Shubman Gill posts ‘after shower’ picture on Twitter

Since December last year, India and Gujarat Titans opening batter, Shubman Gill has been scoring hundreds like nothing across formats. Against Bangladesh last December, he hit his maiden Test century. At the turn of the ongoing year, he scored his maiden ODI hundred against Sri Lanka. In T20I cricket, Gill did it against New Zealand a few months back.

Talking about IPL cricket, he has hit two back-to-back hundreds against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Meanwhile, in a photo uploaded by the 2018 U19 World Cup, he came out in a towel after the shower. A few years back, former India skipper Virat Kohli uploaded a picture of him flaunting his six-packs on social media. That picture also went viral.

It’s important for a player to know their game: Shubman Gill

Meanwhile, Gill, who was coming off his maiden IPL hundred against SRH at home, hit another ton. Batting first, RCB scored 197/5 after their former skipper, Virat Kohli scored his second hundred of the season. The defending champions chased down the target with five balls left and ended RCB’s hopes of qualifying for the playoffs. Thanks to GT’s win, Mumbai Indians have qualified for the playoffs.

“It’s all about getting a start and converting it into a big one. Thankfully it’s working out for me in the business end. You have to keep applying yourself, that’s important. The new ball was holding on a bit. The ball was getting wet with the dew. I thought Vijay Shankar was trying to go too hard. Once he found the momentum, he hit it a long way. I know my game… for any player it’s important to know who you are,” Shubman Gill said in the post-match show after the win against RCB

“As a bowler, Gill doesn’t give you a chance. Other batters also get confidence from it,” GT skipper said.
