Pakistan Cricket Team is in Australia for a huge three-match test series starting on the 14th of December. The first game will be played in Perth and Shaheen Shah Afridi is expected to play a key role for his side.

After landing down, there were visuals that shocked many cricket fans around the world. The entire Pakistani team were seen loading their own luggage’s once they left the airport.

Shaheen Shah Afridi reveals the reason behind the viral video –

Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi spoke on a video which went viral that made the headlines last week. Speaking to the local media, the 23-year-old said “We had to be on the next flight in 30 minutes and there were only 2 people to help us. We wanted to finish the work early to save time. It was teamwork as we all are like family”

David Warner is under focus as he the Australian batter is going to retire from Test Cricket after the series. The left-handed opener will play his final game in the format in front of his home fans in Sydney starting on the 3rd of January.

Sending an ominous warning to David Warner, the pace bowler said “We would wish him good luck but we are not hoping for a good end for David Warner in his last test series against us”

Shan Masood will be leading the test side for the first time with the three matches set to be played in Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney. Many members of the Pakistan cricket team are playing in Australia for the first time. Shaheen Afridi was asked the question of how the young team is going to cope in tough and testing conditions Down Under.

Replying to which Shaheen Shah Afridi said “We don’t have much experience playing in Canberra, but I am sure the 4-day match against PMXI will help us prepare for the series against the home starting in Perth”

The upcoming series carries a lot in it for both the teams as huge World Test Championship points are at stake. Australia are the defending champions while Pakistan are the current leaders in the table.

The left-arm-pacer finished the press interaction by saying “This is an important series for Pakistan as we are leading the World Test Championships points table at the moment”.
