Popular streaming platform secures broadcasting rights for major tournaments until 2027 in Australia

Amazon Prime Video has secured the broadcasting rights for Australia’s men and women’s major tournaments on December 4. Notably, the streaming platform will show Australia’s ODI World Cup 2023 matches along with the World Test Championship Final. Moreover, one can witness all the major Australian games and fixtures exclusively on Amazon Prime until 2027.

Apex Cricket Council head Geoff Allardice also expressed happiness over the four years of partnership with Amazon. Moreover, Geoff is hopeful that the new streaming platform will provide innovative coverage for Australian fans.

“We are very excited to be entering a new four-year partnership with Prime Video for ICC cricket rights in Australia. The recently concluded men’s World Cup has highlighted the interest and passion for ICC events across the globe, and especially in Australia where cricket fans have enjoyed the success of their teams. We look forward to working with Prime Video Australia to provide an innovative world class coverage of cricket to more fans in Australia,” Apex Cricket Council head Geoff Allardice said.

Moreover, the head of Amazon Prime is also thrilled and excited to watch the next Ashes and WTC Final on their streaming platform.
