Team India clinched the T20I series by 4-1 against Australia on December 3 at M. Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium in Bangalore. Speaking of which, the home team posted 160 runs on board in the given 20 overs. However, the visitors were good while chasing but lost some crucial wickets, which made them lose the game by six runs.
Notably, the Men in Blue just lost the third T20I game and went on to win the rest of the four games against the new ODI World Cup 2023 champions. Suryakumar Yadav-led Team India won the first T20I after chasing the great total posted by the Aussies. In addition, the hosts put a great score on board, which Australia failed to chase in the second T20I. However, Team India defended their total in the last two T20Is, which makes them win by 4-1 in the five matches of the T20I series.

Meanwhile, Team India is set to fly to South Africa for the multi-format series. The Men in Blue are set to play the three T20I match sets to commence from December 10 to December 14 under the captaincy of star cricketer Suryakumar Yadav.
