Urvashi Rautela’s mother wishes speedy recovery to Rishabh Pant, fans say ‘Damadji thik ho jayenge’

Rishabh Pant’s car accident has created shockwaves through the entire cricketing world. Fans and colleagues of the player have been wishing for a speedy recovery for the young Indian batter.

Urvashi Rautela who has been having an online tussle with Pant posted a message on Instagram for Pant’s speedy recovery. While her post was a little cryptic, her mother has left room for no questions with her post.

Sharing a photograph of the cricketer in his uniform, Meera wrote, “Social media ki afavah ek taraf (halo on head emoji) aur aap ka svasth ho ke antarrashtriya star par Uttarakand ka naam roshan karna doosri taraf, siddhilibaba aap par vishesh kripya kare (folded hands emoji), aap sab hi log bhi prathna kare. (Spreading rumours on social media is different and making Uttarakhand popular on the international level is different. May Siddhabali Baba bless you. Please pray for Rishabh Pant’s speedy recovery) #Godblessyou #RishabhPant.”

Here’s the Instagram post:

The post has connected well with her followers as it has gotten more than 22k likes while her other posts usually get 2-5k likes. Many followers were also quite humorous about it and asked Pant to be called ‘Damadji’.

A user by the name abhi_narang43 said, “Damadji thik ho jayenge aap tension mat lo (son-in-law will get well soon, don’t be sad).

Pant was involved in an accident while going to meet her mother for New Year’s day. On 30th December the Indian cricketer crashed his car near Roorkee. His Mercedes car smashed the divider and caught fire. A Himachal Roadways bus driver and conductor made sure to get the player out of the burning car and get medical treatment.

Since then the batter has been in stable condition but wouldn’t be able to make a quick comeback into the team. The Indian team meanwhile is playing a 3-match T20I series against Sri Lanka at home.
