‘Virat ko sorry bolke khatam karta’ – Fans react as alleged conversation between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir during tense exchange goes viral
Following a low-scoring thriller between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium, Virat Kohli, along with Gautam Gambhir, got into a heated argument that garnered more media attention than the game itself.
The altercation was sparked by pacer Naveen Ul Haq, and when Gambhir got involved, it grew worse. The specifics of what was stated during this dispute between the two legends born in Delhi have now been revealed.
The altercation, reportedly, began when Kyle Mayers questioned Virat Kohli about why the RCB star was consistently insulting him and the squad, and things only got worse from there, according to an eyewitness. The source said that,
“Gautam, sensing that things could turn ugly, pulled Mayers and told him not to have a conversation, when Virat made a comment. The heated exchange that followed seemed a bit juvenile.”
Gautam Gambhir intervened after spotting Mayers and Kohli arguing and drew the West Indian apart. The eyewitness then divulges the precise words which Kohli and Gambhir discussed during the argument.
Gautam questioned ‘Kya bol raha hain bol'(What were you saying?) and Virat responded by saying that, ‘Maine aapko kuch bola hi naahin, aap kyon ghus rahein ho’ (Why are you coming in between when I haven’t told you anything) Gambhir was agitated and replied that, “Tuney agar mere player ko bola hai, matlab tune meri family ko gaali diya hai. (You abused my player and that’s like abusing my family) and Virat’s reply was, ‘Toh aap apne family ko sambhal ke rakhiye’. (Then you take care of your family).
Gambhir’s conclusive statement before they were separated was, ‘Toh ab tu mujhe sikhayega…’ (So now I have to learn from you…).”
There is no clarity on how true this conversation is and the eyewitness’ words have to be trusted. But after this altercation occurred, the Indian Premier League was quick enough to charge the two players for breaching the Code of the Conduct. The Indian batting icons of the game were charged 100% of their match fees while Naveen Ul-Haq was fined 50% of his match fees.

Whole incident was cooked by Siraj and Naveen ul haq, climax was Gambhir and Kohli face off. They don't like each other from last 10 years and we could find it in matches between Old KKR and RCB and here Gautam is at fault as Kohli was still calling him "Aap" but GG kept poking.
