The ODI World Cup 2023 is all set to commence in host country India on October 5, with a clash between England and New Zealand at the iconic Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. Notably, Rohit Sharma and Co. will be locking horns against Australia on October 8 in Chennai to commence their journey to the marquee event.

Meanwhile, the Men in Blue are red-hot favourites to win the marquee event after their win in the Asia Cup 2023. Following the same, Team India registered a series win over Pat Cummins-led Australia by 2-1 in three matches of the ODI series, which places them at the top spot in the ODI rankings ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023.

However, the ODI World Cup 2023 may be the last for a few players, including India’s stalwart Virat Kohli. Meanwhile, talking about him, former India skipper Virat Kohli has been making headlines in recent times as he is set to become father for the second time. Notably, some reports claim that renowed Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is pregnant and already in her second trimester.

However, India’s stylish right-handed batter took to his social media account and made a kind request to his friends and family members. In addition, the great cricketer made a request to not ask for the ODI World Cup 2023 tickets from him and encouraged them to enjoy the match from their homes over the stadium. Following the same, his wife, Anushka Sharma, broke into laughter.

Virat on his Instagram stories wrote, “As we approach the World Cup, I would humbly like to let all my friends know to not request me for tickets at all through the tournament. Enjoy from your homes pls.” However, reading this request, his wife and great actress, Anushka Sharma could not keep her calm and she broke into laughter. In fact, she also took to her Instagram handle and wrote, “and let me just add, please don’t request me to help if your messages get unanswered. Thank you for your understanding.”
