ODI World Cup 2023
‘Mistake before bashing Pak bowlers’ – Fans react as Virat Kohli comes on field wearing white striped jersey instead of tricolour in ODI World Cup 2023 game vs Pakistan
The final moment has arrived as Team India has locked horns against arch-rivals Pakistan on October 14 at the iconic Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. However, former India skipper Virat Kohli was spotted wearing the wrong jersey in the stadium during the marquee event. The RCB stalwart was spotted in the white striped jersey instead of the tricolour striped during the game.
Notably, Virat Kohli was seen singing the national anthem in the white striped jersey, and following that, he went off the field to wear the right jersey in the big tournament. The 34-year-old cricketer struck out a remarkable century when both sides last faced each other during the Super Fours of Asia Cup 2023, which guided India to a stellar win in the Continental Cup.
Moreover, India’s stylish right-handed batter played a crucial knock of unbeaten 82 runs from 53 balls during the 2022 T20 World Cup against the Men in Green, which was held in Australia. Notably, the Men in Blue were reduced to just 31/4; however, India’s chase master Virat Kohli pulled it back and guided India to a great win in the last ball of the game.

Sure lot of us are going to experience something extraordinary: Rohit Sharma
Speaking about the ongoing match, it was India’s skipper Rohit Sharma who had won the toss and invited the visitors to bat first. Notably, after being sent to bat first, they have been reduced to 75/2 in the 14 overs. Meanwhile, India’s young sensational star Shubman Gill has made his comeback in the game after an illness.
“Gill is back in place of Ishan, unfortunate for Ishan to miss out, feel for him, he stepped up when we needed him. Gill has been a special player for us over the past year or so, especially at this ground and we wanted him back. Cannot get bigger than this, fantastic atmosphere. Sure lot of us are going to experience something really extraordinary,” Rohit Sharma said at the toss.
