Watch: Comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi touches Virat Kohli’s feet during Indian Sports Honours event

Famous Indian comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi shared a fan moment with the star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli when he touched his feet during the Indian Sports Honours awards. Famous personalities from different sports and Bollywood made their appearance at the event and were seen interacting with each other.

Indian Sports Honours have been a showpiece event which celebrates Indian sports personalities across multiple disciplines. The event took place at the JW Marriot Hotel in Mumbai. Bassi was seen jokingly touching Kohli’s feet, and Kohli went on to hug the comedian. Kohli was also present at the event with his wife and the Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, and the couple was seen interacting with other comedians like Abhishek Upamanyu and Kusha Kapila.

Apart from Virat-Anushka, famous Bollywood celebrities like Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were also present at the event. The couple was seen on the red carpet with Deepika’s father and the legendary Indian badminton player, Prakash Padukone ahead of the event.

The fourth edition of the Indian Sports Honours took place on March 23rd and will be telecast on Television on March 26th. The event will honour the athletes who made India proud in their respective sports from January 1, 2021, to February 28, 2023.

Virat Kolhi will be soon seen in Bangalore colours

Kohli will be seen in action for the Bangalore Franchise in the upcoming season of the Indian T20 League. The 16th edition of the tournament will kickstart on March 31st with an opening match between the defending champions Gujarat and the four times champion Chennai at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, Bangalore will begin their 2023 campaign with a match against Mumbai on April 2nd at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

Before that, the Bangalore franchise will also be hosting an unboxing event at the stadium where they will unveil their jersey for the upcoming season and also give tribute to their former players like Ab de Villiers and Chirs Gayle by inducting them into the Hall of fame and retiring their jersey numbers (17 and 333) from the tournament.
