Pakistan speedster Haris Rauf suffered a thigh injury during the recently concluded Test series against England. According to reports in Pakistani media, Rauf wed Muzna Masood Malik on Saturday in a small ceremony in Islamabad. Along with former captain Shahid Afridi and pacers Sameen Rana, Atif Rana, and Aqib Javed from Lahore Qalandar, they all attended the ceremony.

In the first game of a three-game series against England in Rawalpindi, Rauf, 29, who had never played in a Test before, trod on the ball while fielding. Rauf has been forced to withdraw from the Test series against England due to a grade II quad injury. “A grade II strain in the right quad has ruled Rauf out of the Test series against England,” the Pakistan Cricket Board said in a statement.

Throughout the ceremony, Harris Rauf was spotted wearing a conventional white sherwani. While his wife’s white outfit with golden embroidery matched the cricketer as well. The couple’s Nikkah ritual is over, but the rest of the wedding festivities will happen a year from now.
