India skipper Rohit Sharma dismissed rumours of his retirement from T20I cricket. Notably, the star batter has not been included in any of the shortest formats of the game since the T20I World Cup 2022. In addition, the star player played his last match against England during the semifinal in Australia. According to the sources, star Indian batters Virat Kohli and Rohit will not be part of the T20I World Cup 2024, which will be hosted in the West Indies and the USA. In addition, the squad may be led by Hardik Pandya.

Meanwhile, the 36-year-old guided his team to a 1-0 win against the West Indies during the Test match. Following that, he led India during the first ODI match but wasn’t a part of the next two matches as the management decided to give chances to other batters. Notably, the Mumbai Indians batter is not a part of the ongoing five-match T20I series against the West Indies.

Notably, during the launch, the great opener drops a major hint about his T20I career. The right-handed batter reveals that he is looking forward to the next T20I World Cup, which will take place in the USA.
