The Day 2 of the third Ashes Test in Leeds, at Headingley, has so far been a thrilling event, with Australia dominating England in the first session. Following that, Root ended up edging a short-of-length delivery from Cummins that came to him at an uncomfortable height straight to David Warner at first slip. Jonny Bairstow continued to add goals and advance the score after being dismissed.
But one incident that took the internet by storm was when England’s wicketkeeper batter Bairstow again found himself under the spotlight but this time he was seen letting the Australian fielders know that he prefers to stay well inside the crease after the end of the over.
The video of Bairstow letting the Australian wicketkeeper Alex Carey about the fact that he is well within the crease has certainly added fuel to his controversial runout. The England star batter was runout in a controversial set of instances in the second Test match which had ignited a lot of attention among the former players as well as cricket fans.
