WATCH: Jos Buttler takes stunning catch during Lancashire vs Northamptonshire in T20 Blast
During a match T20 Vitality Blast match between Lancashire and Northamptonshire, England’s wicketkeeper-batter, Jos Buttler, demonstrated exceptional athleticism and snagged a one-handed stunner that stunned the fans. During the third over, Northamptonshire batter Ricardo Vasconcelos edged a delivery as the ball raced to the wicketkeeper and Buttler made no mistake and took a brilliant catch.
Lancashire have had a fantastic season in the tournament, winning seven of the 13 games they have played. In the points standings, they are members of the ‘North’ group and are comfortably second, just below Warwickshire. Staying in the top four will guarantee them a spot in the league’s quarter-finals. They will be hungry to capture the championship for the second time, having won it for the first time in 2015, when they defeated Northamptonshire by 13 runs in the final.

Jos Butler’s season at T20 vitality
Jos Buttler, on the other hand, is experiencing an off-season with Lancashire, having scored just 281 runs in 13 innings in the T20 Blast at an average of 35 and a strike rate of 151. The English white-ball captain, England’s T20I and ODI captain, would be eager to hone his fielding abilities and stay fresh for the ODI World Cup, which will be held in India later this year.
Meanwhile, Buttler’s form in T20 cricket continues to rise, with the Rajasthan Royals(RR) apparently offering him the richest T20 deal in club history to play for various Royals sides. Buttler presently plays for RR in the IPL and its sister side Paarl Royals in South Africa’s SA20 league. The Royals also own the Barbados Royals in the Caribbean Premier League, however, he is not presently a member of that squad.
Although RR is yet to formally offer him the contract, according to rumours, he might get a multi-year pact with various franchises will compel him to abandon his contract with the ECB. It goes without saying that RR’s contract will be far more lucrative than Buttler’s present arrangement with the ECB, but he will undoubtedly continue to captain England.
