Watch: MS Dhoni gives shoutout to Virat Kohli during DC v RCB clash in IPL 2023
Last weekend, MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings and Virat Kohli‘s Royal Challengers Bangalore were in action against different teams. The four-time winners, CSK were up against their arch-rivals Mumbai Indians. In the game, the MS Dhoni-led side thrashed their rivals for the second time this season. Just like their first game in Mumbai last month, the Yellow Brigade gave no inch and won the game.
After this, the likes of Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore also played their reverse fixture against each other. In the game, the three-time finalists, RCB won the toss and elected to bat first. After scoring 12 runs, Kohli became the first player in the league to score 7000 and more runs in his career. Meanwhile, when the right-hander faced the first ball, Dhoni gave him a shoutout.
Apparently, in a video that is going viral, the latter can be heard saying “Virat doesn’t play the first ball like this. It is always here.”
