WATCH: Raj Limbani’s insane swing bowling leaves David Teeger spell bound during Under-19 World Cup 2024 Semi-Finals

Team India is currently playing in the Under-19 World Cup 2024 versus South Africa. Uday Sahran won the toss and chose to bowl first against the hosts. Lhuan Dre Pretorius and Richard Selestswane helped the side post a commanding 244 on the board.

Raj Limbani bowled the ball of the day when he dismissed David Teeger with a peach. The first ball of the 9th over saw Raj Limbani bowl to former skipper Teeger. There was a massive swing in the air as the ball tailed in and rattled the off-stump.

The delivery reminded many fans of Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s delivery to Mohammad Hafeez in 2012. The young bowler has been in tremendous form during the Under-19 World Cup tournament so far.

South Africa set India challenging total –

India won the toss and asked South Africa to bat first in the Under-19 World Cup Semi-Finals. Free-scoring Steve Stolk was out after scoring 14 runs with 2 fours and a six. David Teeger was out for a duck as the home team found themselves at 46/2 in the 9th over.

Pretorius and Selestswane then added 72 runs for the third wicket in 22 overs. The pair played cautiously as the Indian bowlers kept things tight. Musheer Khan then got the wicket of Pretorius for 76 off 102 balls.

The left-arm spinner struck again to give India the vital wicket of Oliver Whitehead for 22. Saumy Pandey then got his first wicket dismissing Dewan Marias for 3. Selestswane though kept the score ticking before falling for 64 off 100 balls.

Juan James struck a quick 24 while Tristan Luus was not out on 23 to help their side reach 244. Raj Limbani picked 3/60 from his 9 overs while Naman Tiwari got 1/52 from his 8 overs.

Indian spin duo of Saumy Pandey and Musheer Khan bowled 20 overs between them. The pair picked three wickets for a total of 81 runs. Chasing 245 to win, Adarsh Singh was out in the first ball to Kwena Maphaka. At the time of writing Arshin Kulkarni and Musheer Khan were batting with India at 4/1.
