WATCH: Suryakumar Yadav’s outrageous shot for six gets wholesome praise from Ravichandran Ashwin
Suryakumar Yadav earned huge praise from his Indian teammate Ravichandran Ashwin on Tuesday. The 37-year-old took to Twitter and lavished praise on the Indian T20I skipper for the outrageous shot he played to get off the mark.
The Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati is playing host to the third T20 between India and Australia. Team India have already won the first two games of the series and a win on Tuesday will seal the series for the men in blue.
Matthew Wade won the toss and chose to bowl first and made four changes to the team. Travis Head, Aaron Hardie, Kane Richardson, and Jason Behrendorff came into the XI for Australia. India made just made one change as Avesh Khan came in for Mukesh Kumar is set to tie the knot.
Suryakumar Yadav’s shot leaves Ashwin amazed –
Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav came to the wicket at the fall of Ishan Kishan for a duck. After playing the first few balls carefully, Suryakumar Yadav played his famous paddle scoop for a six to get off the mark.

Ravichandran Ashwin took to Twitter and wrote “I have watched him play this shot so many times but the thrill it gives me while I watch it is the same every single time”. What made this shot even more special was the fact that SKY did not even seem to bother where the ball headed to.
Yashasvi Jaiswal couldn’t continue his good form with the bat as he was out early for 6 runs. The youngster tried to give Behrendorff the charge only to get a huge nick to Matthew Wade.
Ishan Kishan was out for a duck when he went looking for a shot outside off-stump. Kane Richardson had the Indian wicket-keeper dismissed early as Marcus Stoinis took the catch. Suryakumar Yadav scored 39 runs before he was caught by Wade to give Aaron Hardie his 1st wicket.
Ruturaj Gaikwad scored his 2nd half-century in successive games to signal his good form with the bat. Jason Behrendorff ended the night with 1/12 from his four overs with a maiden over as the Australian quick kept the Indian team on the leash.
