WATCH: Usman Khawaja’s little daughter hugs Babar Azam in Christmas celebration

The Australian cricket team has locked horns against Pakistan for the second Test game on December 26 at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. Notably, the hosts are 1-0 in the three matches of the Test series. However, they will be looking to win the second Test as well to seal the series and dominate them. However, the Men in Green will be looking to win the second Test game to level up the series by 1-1.

However, ahead of the game, Usman Khawaja’s daughter, Aisha Khawaja, and former Pakistan skipper Babar Azam were seen sharing a great moment of Christmas in the dressing room ahead of Boxing Day. Notably, Usman Khawaja’s daughter was seen embracing the 29-year-old cricketer, sharing a warm hug.

Meanwhile, Usman Khawaja has been making bold headlines after he wore black armbands in the first Test game to support Palestine. However, the top-order batter also opened up about the act of supporting Palestinian civilians after the disastrous war against Hamas. In addition, the opening batter reveals that it is his responsibility to support them.

“I don’t get anything out of this. I just feel like it’s my responsibility to speak up on this. We live in such a beautiful country. However, I’m blessed to be able to go to Australia, I can walk outside. I don’t have to worry about a thing. My kids can do the same. I just want that for the rest of the world and that’s literally the reason I’m saying this,”  Usman Khawaja said being quoted by NDTV Sports.
