Former Indian captain Virat Kohli is on a spiritual tour with his wife Anushka Sharma and daughter Vamika. Ahead of Border-Gavaskar Trophy, the star couple paid a visit to Swamy Dayanand Giri Ashram in Rishikesh. The glimpses of their tour made netizens recall his old comment about Pooja-Path.

As soon as Twitter was flooded with the videos of the couple organising Bhandara at the Ashram, many fans were quick to recall a remark made by Kohli seven years ago during the 2016 T20 World Cup. Ahead of a do-or-die game against Australia, a reporter asked Kohli if he does prayers to keep himself calm. Answering the question Kohli said, “Do I look like a Pooja-Path guy?”

“A lot about me was incorrect when I started. I was the guy with the tattoos and the fashionable clothes. It is very easy to focus on the negative aspects of life, but I choose not to.
