The auction of the second edition of the WPL came to an end. The teams got some exciting players in their lineup. Mumbai Indians had retained the likes of Harmanpreet Kaur (C), Amelia Kerr, Amanjot Kaur, Saika Ishaque, Hayley Matthews, Humairaa Kaazi, Chloe Tryon, Jintimani Kalita, Natalie Sciver, Isabelle Wong, Priyanka Bala, Pooja Vastrakar, and Yastika Bhatia. In the auction, they brought the likes of Shabnim Ismail for INR 1.3 crores, S Sajana for INR 15 lakhs, Amandeep Kaur, Fatima Jaffar, and Keerthana Balakrishnan for INR 10 lakhs each.
Delhi Capitals retained the likes of Meg Lanning (C), Alice Capsey, Jemimah Rodrigues, Arundhati Reddy, Laura Harris, Jess Jonassen, Minnu Mani, Marizanne Kapp, Radha Yadav, Poonam Yadav, Shikha Pandey, Shafali Verma, Taniya Bhatia, Sneha Deepthi, and Titas Sadhu. From the auctions, DC brought the likes of Annabel Sutherland for INR 2cr, Aparna Mondal and Ashwani Kumari for INR 10 lakhs each.
Gujarat Giants had retained the likes of Beth Mooney, Ashleigh Gardner, Sneh Rana, Laura Wolvaardt, Dayalan Hemalatha, Harleen Deol, Shabnam Shakil, and Tanuja Kanwer. From the auctions, they brought Kashvee Gautam for INR 2cr, Phoebe Litchfield for INR 1cr, Meghna Singh, Lauren Cheatle, and Veda Krishnamurthy for INR 30 lakhs each. They got Priya Mishra for INR 20 lakhs and Trisha Poojitha, Kathryn Bryce, Mannat Kashyap, and Tarannum Pathan for INR 10 Lakh each.
