Yuvraj Singh and Gautam Gambhir set to play for New Jersey in Masters T10 League

The T10 Global Sports on Saturday conducted the US Masters T10 League Player Draft in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Player draft included all six teams with the likes of – Atlanta Fire, California Knights, Morrisville Unity, New Jersey Legends, New York Warriors and Texas Chargers. There have been explosive lineups for all the teams in the tournament scheduled to be held later this year.

The New Jersey Legends will have three former Indian players who were part of the 2011 ODI World Cup winning campaign. Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh and Yusuf Pathan will be a part of the New Jersey franchise, along with players like Liam Plunkett, Albie Morkel, Naman Ojha, Jesse Ryder, Chris Barnwell, Stuart Binny, RP Singh, Bipul Sharma, Craig Mcmillan, Tim Ambrose, Rajesh Bishnoi, Abhimanyu Mithun and Monty Panesar.

Meanwhile, former Indian wicketkeeper batter Robin Uthappa will lead the charge of Atlanta Fire’s batting lineup along with Australian great David Hussey. Apart from them, Lendl Simmons, Muhammad Irfan, Dwayne Smith, Farhad Raza, Hammad Azam, Chaturanga De Silva, Elias Sunny, Nasir Hossain, Kamrul Islam, Junaid Siddique, Grant Elliot, Amila Aponso, Hamilton Masakada and S Sreesanth will also be a part of the Atlanta franchise.

Aaron Finch, Chris Gayle and Harbhajan to be back in action

Talking about California Knights, two of India’s pivotal players in the 2011 World Cup triumph, Suresh Raina and Irfan Pathan will be seen back in action together, along with Mohammad Kaif. Meanwhile, Australia’s T20 World Cup-winning captain will also join the former Indian cricketers in the California squad. The rest of the players are Peter Siddle, Jacques Kallis, Ricardo Powell, Denesh Ramdin, Ben Laughlin, Ashley Nurse, Rusty Theron, Anureet Singh, Pawan Suyal, Devendra Bishoo, Jesal Karia and Sudeep Tyagi.

The Morrisville Unity will have the services of the West Indian legend Chris Gayle, along with the former Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh. The players like Kevin O’Brien, Parthiv Patel, Corey Anderson, Rahul Sharma, Calvin Savage, Parvinder Awana, Andries Gous, Najaf Shah, Angelo Perera, Dane Piedt, Vikas Tokas, Dilshan Munaweera, Nuwan Kulasekara and Makhaya Ntini will also feature in the Morrisville’s squad.
