‘Wait kar lo beta Abbu aa rahe hai’ – Fans react as Mohammed Amir guesses right answer, Rohit Sharma, after ‘vadapav’ hint
India skipper Rohit Sharma is set to lead his team in the prestigious Finals of the Test Championship 2023. India will be facing Australia in the finals at the iconic Oval Cricket Ground in London from June 7. Meanwhile, a video of Pakistan cricketer Mohammed Amir has gone viral on social media where he, along with a TV host, is seen mocking Rohit.
The show’s host occasionally crossed the line by making disparaging statements about Rohit Sharma. The incident happened during a portion in which Amir was asked to guess the player on the screen. The mood became fairly cringe-worthy as the emcee resorted to making jokes mocking and belittling Rohit Sharma in an attempt to convey hints to Amir. The host said things like, “It doesn’t matter if Rohit plays or not. He said, “He eats Vada Pav, and people are confused why Rohit is still playing,” among other things.
Here is the video:

The video soon went viral on social media and left fans in shock. It’s crucial mentioning that Amir played along by taking his time responding, allowing the host to continue making offensive remarks. Amir seems to have guessed the correct response but preferred to stall and prolong the banter. Though, it might be a hilarious situation on a TV show but the mutual respect for a sportsman was missing there.
Rohit Sharma led MI in IPL before the Test Championship finals
In the recently concluded Indian Premier League 2023, Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians to qualifier 2 before getting knocked out of the tournament by Gujarat Titans. In the tournament, Rohit failed to score runs with the bat but eventually took his team to the playoffs. Meanwhile, he would be looking to perform well in the upcoming Test Championship finals as India will be facing Australia.
This is India’s second consecutive Test Championship finals, and the team would look to get that mace home. In the inaugural season, New Zealand beat India by 8 wickets at the Southampton in finals in 2021. However, it’s worth noting that the Indian team is preparing well for the upcoming game and will be focused on the biggest prize.
Here is how fans react to Mohammed Amir’s viral video:
The behaviour of that Anchor is something which represents the country in the international level and with this behaviour it brings so much hate not to him but to the entire country as well!

I'm just surprised that how you're having the audacity to defend your nation, apart from celebrities, common Indian public is not gonna spare anybody if somebody even analogize their players with ours, they're gonna flood your notification bar with curse words and threats,INSANE!
