Three players who can make India win the second T20I against Ireland
The Men in Blue won the first T20I against Ireland by the DLS method after rain played spoilsport in the play. 1. Jasprit Bumrah
India star pacer Jasprit Bumrah had a terrific comeback after an 11-month gap due to a back injury. Notably, the right-arm pacer will again be looking to get maximum wickets to restrict the home team early and seal the series 2-0 during the second T20I. In addition, the great bowler had scalped two wickets during his first over in the opening T20I match against the Irish team. Moreover, the 29-year-old cricketer will be an important player during the upcoming Asia Cup and World Cup.
2. Yashasvi Jaiswal
India’s young batter, Yashasvi Jaiswal, will again be looking to get a good start for his side in the second T20I. Notably, the star batter hammered 24 runs from 23 balls during the first T20I, which featured three boundaries and a six and built a great partnership with CSK opener Ruturaj Gaikwad, which gave the Men in Blue a great start. In addition, the 21-year-old batter’s best performance came during the fourth T20I against the West Indies, as the great opener smashed an unbeaten 81 runs from just 51 balls with a solid strike rate of 165, which enabled the Men in Blue to level up the series at 2-2 despite losing the first two matches.
3. Tilak Varma
Mumbai Indians batter Tilak Varma will also be looking to score runs in the second T20I after missing the opportunity during the opening match. Notably, every eye is on him, and all cricket pundits are backing him to play better to secure a berth in the upcoming Asia Cup and World Cup at number four owing to KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer’s injuries. In addition, the 20-year-old batter gathered attention during the West Indies tour owing to his magnificent knocks.
