‘Bas biriyani khao aur match haaro’ – Fans react as Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf rates Hyderabad biriyani 20 out of 10 ahead of ODI World Cup 2023

Pakistan Cricket Team is gearing up for the ODI World Cup 2023 set to commence on October 5. Notably, Pakistan has lost both of their ODI World Cup warm-up matches against New Zealand and Australia; however, they are still favourites to win the marquee event owing to their stellar display in 50-over formats.

Notably, the Pakistan team is currently in Hyderabad and seems to enjoy their leisure time. The Men in Green received a warm reception once they touched Indian soil. Moreover, the fans were seen cheering at the Hyderabad airport. Following the same, Babar Azam and Co. were seen enjoying their delicious and tantalizing dinner at ‘Jewel of Nizam’ in Hyderabad.

Now, Pakistani star players were seen enjoying their Hyderabad Biryani in the hotel room, and a few great cricketers have rated Hyderabad biryani higher than Karachi biryani. The clip has gone viral with a flood of hilarious comments. In addition, when asked to rate it, Pakistan’s star pacer Haris Rauf rates 20 points out of 10 for Hyderabad Biryani. The star cricketer Haris Rauf has been named in the squad as a reserve after his injury in the Asia Cup 2023.

Pakistan will open their ODI World Cup 2023 campaign against the Netherlands on October 6.

Meanwhile, after losing the second warm-up game against Australia, stand-in skipper Shadab Khan jokingly told renowned broadcaster Harsha Bhogle that the Hyderabad Biryani makes them slow and is the cause of their loss in the second warm-up match against Pat Cummins and Co.

“Result is not important. We took a lot of positives. Our attitude was good, result not in our hands. I think our 11 is sorted, we just wanted to give time to the bench to show their skills. When you play against Australia and New Zealand, you get confidence. We got a little bit of experience of conditions [in Hyderabad]. We are eating it daily, and perhaps that is why we are getting a bit slow (laughs),” Shadab Khan said.
