‘There is no one like him’ – Fans react as Virat Kohli’s magnificent ton guides India to win ODI World Cup 2023 clash vs Bangladesh
Team India won their fourth game of the ODI World Cup 2023 against Bangladesh on October 19 at MCA in Pune. Notably, the Men in Blue have won all four games in the marquee event. Rohit Sharma and Co. had defeated Australia in their opening game, whereas they beat Afghanistan in their second clash. In addition, the Men in Blue have thrashed traditional rivals Pakistan in their third game, and they upset Bangladesh in their fourth game.
Speaking about the game here, it was Bangladesh skipper Shanto who won the toss and invited the Men in Blue to field first. Notably, after being elected to bat first, Bangladesh great openers Tanzid Hasan and Liton Das have struck out half centuries to give the wonderful start. However, following their dismissal, no other batsman carried off the great momentum and could only manage to get 256/8 in the given 50 overs.
However, during the chase, Team India also had a great start as skipper Rohit Sharma piled up 48 runs while star batsman Shubman Gill scored 53 runs during the play. Following their dismissal, India’s stalwart Virat Kohli took the onus and scored a magnificent century that guided India to win the game by seven wickets.
