India’s star cricketer Mohammed Shami, who was the leading wicket-taker in the recently concluded ODI World Cup 2023 campaign, shared a powerful video on his Instagram account early on Sunday morning.

Notably, the video captured Shami and his teammates helping with the rescue of an accident victim on a slippery route close to Nainital, Uttarakhand. In addition, the 33-year-old cricketer can be seen rescuing the victim from the damage. Mohammed Shami truly displayed sportsmanship after his wonderful gesture.

India’s great cricketer Mohammed Shami took to social media and wrote that God has given that person a second life, and he talks about how his team has successfully saved that person. “He’s so lucky god gave him 2nd life. His car fell down from the hill road near Nainital just in front of my car. We took him out very safely.” Notably, the clip has gone viral and been shared on social media with lots of appreciation from fans all over the world for his true sportsmanship.

Notably, Shami even did not get a spot in the playing XI at first, but skipper Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid placed Mohammed Shami in the lineup after Hardik Pandya’s injury, replacing Shami for Shardul Thakur after the first four games.

The great cricketer played his first game against New Zealand, where he took 5/54 after missing the first four games of the ODI World Cup 2023. Following his first game, he went on to become the most crucial player for his side. Moreover, after his match-winning knock in the semi-final against New Zealand, his state government promised to open the stadium and gym in his village for the upcoming generations, which India needs in the coming years.
