The opener of the Pakistan Super League was played between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultan at the Multan Cricket Stadium. The Lahore franchise defeated Multan’s side to take away 2 points from their first encounter of the league.

Pakistan star wicketkeeper batter, Mohammad Rizwan won the toss and elected to bowl first. Qalandars got off to a great start as opener Fakhar Zaman scored 66 runs from 42 balls and Mirza Baig scored 32 runs of 26 balls.

In the second innings, right-arm seamer Haris Rauf bowled a yorker at 144.3 kph, and South Africa’s middle order batter David Miller was left stunned with the accuracy and pace. He missed the line completely and the ball went on to hit the bottom of the leg stump.
