WATCH: Star India batter Rishabh Pant left fans confused as he posts a picture of chess board on social media

On Monday, Rishabh Pant posted a picture that left fans wondering about the Indian wicketkeeper-batter and his recent activities. On Instagram, Pant shared a photo of himself playing chess with an unidentified player while seated across from a board. He also invited followers to guess who he was playing chess in the image. Pant also shared a video of the windy conditions he was experiencing from the terrace.

Pant miraculously survived the fire after being in a terrible car accident in December last year. Early in the morning, he was driving from Delhi to his home in Roorkee when his car struck a divider between Manglaur and Narsan in the Haridwar district.

Fans of Pant were in shock when the 25-year-old wicketkeeper-batter posted photos of himself, recently, using crutches to walk. After having time to reflect following the accident, Pant said in a later interview that he has discovered a fresh perspective on life.

We are providing all support to him: Parth Jindal

“It is hard for me to say if everything around me has become more positive or even negative. However, I’ve gained a fresh perspective on how I view my life now. Something I value today is enjoying my life to the fullest and this includes the smallest of things that we ignore in our daily routine. Everyone today is hustling and working extremely hard to achieve something special, but we’ve forgotten to enjoy the little things which give us joy every single day,” the Delhi franchise skipper was quoted as saying.

According to rumours, Pant is expected to be out for a significant amount of time and won’t play in this year’s India T20 League or the ODI World Cup, later, this year which is scheduled to take place in India. It is unknown when Pant will be fully recovered and able to return to the cricket field, though the Indian Cricket Board is allegedly keeping an eye on his development.

“This is Rishabh Pant’s family, he knows it, we are providing all support to him, if he wants to watch a few Indian T20 League & Womens T20 League games, we are happy to welcome him,” said Parth Jindal.
