‘Chingam ka flavor utarne se pehle wicket chali gayi’ – Fans troll Suryakumar Yadav as he scores another golden duck against Australia

After winning the first match by five wickets, India locked horns against Australia in the second ODI of the series on Sunday, March 19 at the Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Vishakapatnam. In the first ODI, the star Indian batters like Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav failed to score runs for the Men in Blue.

They were in a terrible position after losing the first four wickets for 39 runs while chasing only 189 runs to chase.  Even trying to open his account, Suryakumar Yadav failed since he was dismissed for a golden duck. At the number four spot, he entered the pitch. Because of a back issue, Shreyas Iyer was unable to participate in this series.

He had a fantastic chance to score some runs. But Surya was unable to handle a nasty inswinging delivery from Mitchell Starc, and he scored a duck as a result. He was caught directly in front of the stumps. Fans were still expecting him to score some runs in the second game. Every fan is aware of Surya’s potential in the white-ball situation.

Mitchell Starc’s fifer helps Australia to get an edge over India

He has previously demonstrated it numerous times for team India in the game’s shortest format. He is now recognised as the best batter in the 20-20 format. Even better, he played his first Test in the just-completed Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He only managed four runs in Nagpur’s opening Test. After that, Surya was unable to participate in the following three times.

Speaking about the second ODI, the visitors won the toss and elected to bowl first. Batting first, India was bundled out for 117 runs in exactly 26 overs. Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli was the highest run-getter for the team with 31 runs from 35 balls with four fours. Axar Patel also played an unbeaten knock of 29 runs off 29 balls with one four and two sixes.

The pick of the bowler for Australia was Starc, who grabbed a fifer in his spell of eight overs and conceded 53 runs and bowled one maiden over. The other seamer Sean Abbott snapped three wickets in his spell of six overs and gave away only 23 runs. Ellis also bagged two wickets in his spell of five overs and conceded only 13 runs.

Here’s how fans reacted to Suryakumar Yadav’s performance:
