‘Pure marks aajayenge isme toh’ – Fans react as Virat Kohli’s image appears on school question paper for essay

Star India batter Virat Kohli has been phenomenal throughout his career. He is one of the greatest batters in cricket history and has inspired millions of aspiring cricketers. Kohli ended the drought of the century in international cricket after scoring a ton against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup 2022. He had a forgettable lean patch from 2019 to 2022 when he failed to score centuries. Meanwhile, a picture determining his popularity is going viral on social media.

In a viral picture of a Class 9th question paper students were asked to write a short essay in 100-120 words on Virat Kohli’s picture. The image in the paper was from Virat’s first international T20 century. Notably, Virat hammered his first T20I century against Afghanistan in Asia Cup 2022. Since then he never looked back and hammered some match-winning knocks for India.

He has been amazing after Asia Cup as he is the only player to score more than 1500 runs in international cricket since Asia Cup 2022. He was the top scorer for India in the 20-20 World Cup as he scored 296 in six games including four half-centuries. Kohli also hammered three ODI hundreds and become second most century scorer in the format.

Notably, Kohli had a bizarre time with the bat in the Tests and was unable to score runs in the longest format since 2019. However, he broke that jinx too when he hammered a magnificent 186 runs in the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar trophy against Australia. It helped India to draw the game and win the series by 2-1.

Virat Kohli is set to replicate his form in Indian T20 League

The former India captain is currently camping with his franchise in Bangalore to prepare for the 16th edition of the Indian T20 League. Going on Bangalore’s maiden trophy quest Kohli will want to replicate his international form in the tournament and win for the red team.

Recently in an interview, Kohli said that he believes that his best is yet to come. Speaking with Bangalore Kohli stated that there is still room for growth in his batting. Kohli said, “It was just about rediscovering the love for the game. That could happen when I stepped away from what was happening on the field for so long. I was trying to find ways when I was exhausted.”

“I needed to connect myself as a human first, not judge myself constantly or keep myself under scrutiny all the time. Staying away from the game helped me. That helped me rediscover my excitement and love for the game. When I came back, everything was an opportunity, nothing was pressure,” Kohli said in a video released by Bangalore. Notably, Bangalore will face Rohit Sharma led-Mumbai on April 2 at their home ground. Meanwhile, fans react to the question in exams over Virat Kohli. A Twitter user said, “I can write a book on him.”
