‘Bhaiya fas gye baman ki ladki ke chakkar mein’ – Fans react hilariously over viral image of Mohammad Shami and Preity Zinta interacting with each other after PBKS Vs GT clash in IPL

After losing the last fixture against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by eight wickets, Punjab Kings locked horns against the defending champions, Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali on Thursday, April 13. Titans won the match by six wickets and Mohit Sharma was awarded the Player of the Match award for his brilliant performance.

Preity Zinta, the owner of PBKS, and Mohammed Shami shared a humorous moment on the pitch in Mohali after the GT vs. PBKS match. It was a memorable moment or a type of reunion. Shami has previously competed for PBKS. The two were seen laughing together while bonding over a joke. In three years, the Indian bowler took 58 wickets for PBKS. The fast bowler for PBKS at that point had a 22.82 average.

Sam Curran bowled exceptional last over

As Shami went for massive runs in each of his four overs, he did not have the ideal performance against his former team. It was not good news that he let up 44 runs in his four overs while only taking one wicket. However, Mohit Sharma, who was wearing the GT jersey for the first time, did have a successful outing. He was returning after a two-season absence. The right-arm pacer’s most recent IPL appearance was in 2020.

He showed what he was capable of against his former team and had subtle pace variations. During his four overs, Mohit registered figures of 2-14 runs. For him, it was a spectacular return. The quick bowler demonstrated how he has matured and used all of his experience. For giving him an opportunity in the starting XI, Ashish Nehra and Vikram Solanki deserve credit. He was a member of the GT franchise’s net bowlers in the last season.

In the last over of the match, Sam Curran dismissed Shubman Gill with a brilliant delivery. There weren’t many runs in the bank to defend, but Curran nearly pulled it off. But, Tewatia finished the game for GT by striking the winning boundary.
