In the 52nd match of IPL 2023, Rajasthan Royals (RR) took on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Sawai Madhopur Stadium in Jaipur. RR won the toss and elected to bat first, posting an enormous total of 214/2 runs on the board.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler started the innings for RR, with Buttler taking charge and smashing 10 fours and 4 sixes to score 95 runs off just 54 balls. Captain Sanju Samson came in later and continued the onslaught, scoring 66 runs off 38 balls with 4 fours and 5 sixes.

In response, SRH started well, with Anmolpreet Singh and Abhishek Sharma contributing 33 and 55 runs respectively. Rahul Tripathi also played a crucial role, scoring 47 runs off just 29 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes. Despite losing wickets on regular intervals, all SRH players chipped in with some runs.

With the match coming down to the wire, it was Abdul Samad and Marco Jansen who had to bat the last over, with SRH needing 17 runs to win. Sandeep Sharma bowled the last ball of the over, which was a no ball, giving Samad a free hit on the last ball.
